International cooperation

The Slovak Road Association is a collective member of the World Road Association, which is a non-governmental organization seated in Paris. WRA organizes world road congresses, which are professional summits , where the experts from Slovakia present their work and acquire new knowledge. SCS participates in tasks of Slovak National Committee of WRA. The Chairman of the committe is the president of SCS. The eminent experts - members of the SCS are delegated to, and work in technical committees of WRA.

Czech Republic: Czech Road Society, Prague

The cooperation is based on long-time contacts of professionals, exchange of knowledge and best practices. The exchange of knowledge is managed on the symposiums and conferences with the reciprocal participation of members of SRS and CRS. The actual issues of the road management and road construction development are the objectives of common councils of presidiums. The members of the SRS publish in the professional journal "Silniční obzor (Road Horizon)" and actively participate in work of the editorial board.
